Yorktown’s Fifth Annual Fall Festival and Street Fair

The Yorktown Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Town of Yorktown, will be hosting its Fifth Annual Fall Festival and Street Fair on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 11am – 5pm in downtown Yorktown.  Come join in the fun as Commerce Street and Veterans Road are filled with more than 250 vendors with something for everyone.  This year the Kids Zone, located on the Jack DeVito Field, has the exciting addition of the new “Kidz Korner,” sponsored by Macaroni Kid Westchester North.  Each vendor in the Kidz Korner will offer a free activity for each of its visitors.  Also in the Kids Zone will be fun kids’ rides and activities, once again provided by Fun Time Amusements.  The Yorktown Chamber’s Health & Fitness Committee has some wonderful local demonstrations from our area businesses.  Street Performers will also provide entertainment throughout the day, such as Stilt Walkers and Jugglers, as well as Clowns making balloon animals!  From open to close, The Yorktown Festival and Street Fair will provide continuous live, local musical talent, shopping, food and more!  Your presence will help support and celebrate the success and pride of Yorktown businesses and organizations, all while you enjoy great food, company, and entertainment.  In years past, the Festival has allowed local organizations such as the Yorktown & Mohegan Fire Departments, Yorktown & Mohegan Ambulance, ASK, Yorktown Nutrition Center, Lions Concert Series, Yorktown Police Department, Seabury, Hudson Valley Hospital Center, Fieldhome, Kids-to-Kids International, Teatown, Christopher Columbus Society of Yorktown, Circolo DiVinci, Knights of Columbus, Yorktown Teen Center, Pines Bridge Memorial, Yorktown Elks, Harrison Apar Field of Dreams, St. Patrick’s Seniors, Lover Hudson Valley EAP, Hilltop Farm & John C.
