Usdan Center For the Creative and Performing Arts, in the Huntington area of Long Island, is America’s largest summer arts day camp, annually hosting 1600 children ages 6-18 from throughout the Tri-State area. Air-conditioned buses transport students– in Westchester, from New Rochelle, Scarsdale and Rye. Students from nearby Connecticut come to Westchester for pickup. Usdan, called by Time Magazine “One of the most unique camps in America,” offers more than 40 programs in the arts and chess on its magnificent 200-acre woodland campus, plus on-site performances by distinguished artists.  No audition is needed for most programs, and about one-third of students attend on scholarship.  Families may visit the Center any Monday-Friday, at 185 Colonial Springs Road in Wheatley Heights, NY or call 212-772-6060, or 631-643-7900.  Also, visit www.usdan.com
