Parent Management Training Groups for Parents & Educators

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is starting two Parent Management Training (PMT) Groups; one for parents of children with developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorders and another for educators and professionals who work with children with special needs. Developed at Yale Child Study Center, PMT is an evidenced-based intervention geared to decreasing oppositional, aggressive and antisocial behavior.   The parent group will meet on Tuesdays and Thursday from 9:30 – 11:00 AM from July 10 – August 16. An assessment with the child is required prior to attendance. This group can be billed through most third party insurances or at a self-pay fee.   The group for educators will meet on Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:30 – 11:00 AM  from July 3 – 19. The fee is $120 and pre-registration is required.  Both groups will meet at WJCS, 141 N.
