Miracle League of Westchester

in Non-Profits

The Miracle League of Westchester is a nonprofit organization created to give Westchester children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league. The league was founded in 2005 by J. Stephen Madey. What makes the Miracle League unique is our Miracle Field, specially designed with rubberized, cushioned turf, at Ridge Road Park in Hartsdale. The Miracle Field was funded with a legacy grant from  Westchester County and opened in the fall of 2006. As a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, the League survives on the generosity of donors who believe as we do that every child deserves the chance to play baseball.
