Fall/Winter Series: School’s Out/Art’s In at the Katonah Museum of Art.  The Katonah Museum of Art becomes your child’s personal art studio during vacation days. Each day a teaching artist leads different art projects inspired by the current exhibition, “Ice Age” to the Digital Age: The 3D Animation Art of Blue Sky Studios. Children will enjoy creating flip books, found object creatures, cut paper animation, digital stop motion, and cartoon drawing.   October 8: Illustrated Thaumatropes, November 12: Recycled Robots, November 23: Cartoon Drawing, December 26: 3-D Creatures, December 27: Movable Characters, December 28: Flip Books.  The Katonah Museum of Art, 134 Jay Street/Route 22, Katonah, New York.  Time: 10am – 3pm (parents and children are invited to drop in any time of the day).  Children under age 6 participate with an adult; 7 and older, adults must remain at the Museum.
