Brand new preschool opening Sept. 2010 in Bedford is looking for two head teachers and two assistant teachers. Responsibilities include working with the preschool team to develop and implement a hands-on, enriched curriculum, manage all aspects of the classroom, and regularly evaluate student progress. Experience with children 5 and under is preferred and head teacher should have a Master`s degree in Early Childhood Education or be working toward that. The program runs Monday-Friday, mornings only. Response Manager Position. Come play a key role at the Westchester County Chapter as member of the chapter response team. Key Responsibilities for this full time position include:
• Providing operations and administration support in the design and implementation of response strategies and programs for the chapter. 
• Executing emergency/disaster response operations for the chapter jurisdiction as well as other areas outside the chapter’s jurisdiction when called upon. 
• Providing oversight and leadership in training, developing and mobilizing response volunteers for emergency and disaster response. 
• Maintaining close liaison and executing disaster response arrangements with voluntary organizations.
• Ensuring that materials, services, data gathering and reporting comply with contractual/grant obligations. 
Position Requirements:  BS or BA degree business/public administration, education or related discipline. This position requires an individual with three-five years of management experience who has excellent interpersonal skills to lead, develop and motivate a volunteer workforce under stressful conditions. Successful candidates will have experience with writing response plans, response integration, and planning or participating in exercises preferred. Valid New York State Driver License required. Ability to drive box van size (Emergency Response Vehicles) vehicles preferred.  Salary commensurate with experience.  Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, 401k and retirement plan.
