Any racer knows that a solid fundamental foundation is the key to winning. At Grand Prix New York, a professional track staff introduces kids from ages 8-16 to the basic fundamentals of driving as well as racing. With class sizes never exceeding 20 students, instructors are able to give the junior racers at GPNY the one-on-one attention that is necessary to master skills and excel! Schools are run once a month on the weekend and have produced nearly 1,000 graduates most of whom compete in Junior Racing Leagues and Endurance Races! The BYSC In-house program is a for-fun, community developmental program focused on skills, sportsmanship, team play and a knowledge of the game. As it is often the first organized sport a child plays, we are intent on making it a fun experience for children and their families. It is also intended to develop travel soccer aptitude for those children who have the desire to transition to travel, which is more serious and more competitive. Most in-house age groups have parent coached teams with paid trainers. In 1st grade, parents can choose between a professional clinic program that runs two days per week, or continue with parent coaches and team play (with professional trainers). By second grade, more dedicated players may choose our pre-travel program. To learn more about BYSC, visit www.bedfordyouthsoccerclub.org.
