EssentialMom.com | Where Mom's Needs Finally Come First

Blog Page

Hello and Welcome to EssentialMom`s Blogger Central!

I have never written a blog and honestly, haven`t read many either...just a wanna be tech geek who knows very little about tech.  But as I have traversed the redesign world, I saw blog fun in use in many ways.  I invite you into this world with me.  Read my blog, read those of others, or create your own!

Go to "Manage my blog" -- yup, right over there on the left in that sign in box (sign in first).  You will enter your very own blog-- you can add posts and start talking to friends whenever you are ready.  We may have some initial bumps in the road, excuse us.  Like when it invites you to change your "theme" and then gets crazy-- so please DO NOT change the theme.

You can add text, comments, pictures, & more.  The kids can blog with grandma, send pictures, tell about their day, etc.  A great way to keep in touch with groups, friends, or family.  Have a playgroup that needs to check meetings and dates?  Go ahead and create a blog!

If you like your blog....share it with us so other moms can find you!  HAPPY BLOGGIN`

It’s not called Labor for Nothing, by Alexandra Soiseth

Early on the day before my due date, preeclampsia looming, Dr. McGroary breaks my water. As he leaves, my birthing partners trickle in… the New York contingent, Pat and Megan (who God bless them, have been with me through hours of ‘birthing classes’) and the Canadian Crew, my sister Linda and best friend Margaret. They arrived last night to spend Victoria Day weekend with me.

Knot Sew Crafty

Right now I`m not so crafty, but through my explorations of crafting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, gardening, printing, writing, photographing, and lots of other "ings," I hope to find my way to a craft that I love.

Annemarie Segaric, Life Coach and Motivational Speaker

The other day I was foolishly attempting to reply to some e-mails while my two children were in my office with me. While it was an exercise in frustration it also resulted in some much needed humor. Here’s what happened…My daughter, Isabella, who is 3, asks me for my “ear thing to talk” (translation: phone headset). I mindlessly give it to her since I was engrossed in something online....

The Procrastinating Girl

Currently on hiatus from my life as a freelance writer to raise two young daughters, I`ve been working on a novel for a couple of years now. Yes, I`ll finish. I just haven`t gotten around to it yet.  This blog is based on this life-long personality flaw and is a chronicle of what I don`t do...for no good reason other than my own inertia. I`m hoping maybe the public humiliation will force me into a new, more organized state of being. People say blogging is powerful. Can it undo 36 years of saving everything until the very last minute?   Read more >>

be U: the university of be blog

For as long as I can remember, I have been seeking the truth about life-- who am I, why am I here, and what is my connection to everything and everybody else?  I love love, inspiration, the gorgeousness of the human spirit, and the fact that we are experiencing a shift in consciousness when we can more comfortably and stylishly express the spiritual side of ourselves without feeling goofy about it....
